Tax and VAT

‘In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes’ (Benjamin Franklin 1789). When alive we need to pay a variety of taxes including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT and Capital Gains Tax and upon death Inheritance Tax has to be paid. There is no escaping paying taxes, however with appropriate planning the tax burden could be minimised.
